About the Program

Our 10-hour Foundational Pilates Program is designed specifically for beginners looking to build strength, improve control, and enhance overall well-being through classical Pilates techniques. Conducted over the span of a month, this program introduces you to the fundamentals of Pilates, progressively guiding you through exercises that strengthen your core, improve your posture, and increase your flexibility. Each week, we incorporate different Pilates props to deepen your practice and keep your sessions engaging.​​​​​

What to Expect

By the end of this program, you can expect:

- Body Toning: Experience a more toned and sculpted body as you engage in exercises targeting all major muscle groups.

- Weight Loss: Through consistent movement and muscle activation, this program supports your weight loss goals.

- Reduced Lower Back & Knee Load: Strengthening your core and leg muscles helps alleviate stress on your lower back and knees.

Sr. Instructor, Breathwork & Pilates Lead

Mr. Mohanraj. A

Mohanraj A is a Senior Instructor and BreathWork Lead at SAMA. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience including at the esteemed Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers. He is completing his Pilates Certification from Pilates Method Alliance, UK.

He has a keen insight into the human mechanism with a nuanced understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the energetic systems of the body.

 

Mohanraj's classes  teachings are characterised by a blend of tradition backed and science backed practices.

1. How can I compensate for missed classes?

The program has been designed to cater to the busy lifestyle with 4 different time options every week. Each participant has to complete atleast 3 classes per week a total of 10 classes to complete the program

2. Who should avoid this program?

Although the program is safe for most people, we suggest that if you have any of the following conditions, you should take your doctor's approval before signing up:

1. Vertigo

2. Cardiac conditions

3. Low Blood Pressure

4. Any fractures/ligament tears

5. Any cervical conditions
